Effective October 11, 2026. KB Board is a free beta operated by Jon Sheppard.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist, KB Board stores your email address and signup time to contact you about the app and future access. You can request removal through the feedback form, which requires ChatGPT sign-in. The site uses short-lived, hashed request information to limit abuse; it does not store your IP address in the waitlist.
What is saved
Sign in with ChatGPT supplies an account identifier and basic profile details, including name and email, to identify your account. KB Board saves your workout library, plans, optional training profile, finished session history, and submitted feedback against that identifier. Your active timer, sound settings, and recovery copies are stored in your browser.
Equipment, goals, preferences, and workout history can be personal. Avoid putting diagnoses, payment details, passwords, or other sensitive information in notes or feedback.
How data is used and hosted
Your data makes the board work, syncs your saved records, and helps troubleshoot feedback. The site runs on ChatGPT Sites with Cloudflare infrastructure and a hosted database. These providers process requests and may keep operational logs, including technical request information. This release adds no advertising trackers or analytics service and does not sell your personal data.
Catalog suggestions run locally. When you choose Generate with AI in the mobile app, KB Board sends OpenAI the workout time, equipment and kettlebell inventory, training goal, experience, selected skills, focus, and excluded catalog movements needed for that request. Your name, account identifier, workout history, and freeform restrictions are excluded from the model request. OpenAI processes this request under its API data policies; KB Board requests no stored response. You review and accept a proposal before it is saved. Opening an external tutorial or media link gives its provider your usual browser request information; its privacy policy applies.
AI phone connections
Approving a matching phone code grants AI generation access for up to 30 days. The phone stores its credential securely; the server stores a one-way digest. This does not enable native cloud sync. You can revoke all AI phone connections at Connect your phone. Request fingerprints, an account digest, and budget counters remain to prevent duplicate charges and enforce the beta allowance. Cached proposal content is cleared after 24 hours when the service next performs cleanup, or when you delete your account.
Download, restore, or delete
Open Account to download your saved library, history, and submitted feedback. Backups contain personal data: keep them somewhere you trust. Restore adds missing workout and history records to the same account while preserving existing records.
Account → Delete my KB Board data removes your saved library, training profile, finished sessions, and feedback and cached AI proposals from the active database, revokes AI phone connections, and clears this browser’s account copy. A minimal account identifier and deletion marker remain so old tabs cannot recreate deleted records. Other devices may retain a local copy until they reconnect. Operational logs or provider backups may remain under provider retention policies; deletion does not erase your ChatGPT account or files you downloaded.
Records remain until you delete them or the beta is retired. If the service is retired, the app will provide notice and a download opportunity where practicable.
Questions
Use the in-app feedback form for privacy questions. A support email has not been set up yet. Messages are stored for the operator to review; the beta does not promise a response time.
